Dr. Siddharth

I am Dr. Siddharth Matad, a passionate Vascular surgeon and Associate Professor in General Surgery at the Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Trauma & Orthopaedics. With a foundation in leading institutions, I hold an MBBS from Government Medical College, Bellary, an MS in General Surgery from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and a DrNB in Vascular Surgery from Jain Institute of Vascular Sciences, Bangalore.

I specialize in complex vascular procedures for peripheral arterial disease (PAD), diabetic foot, varicose veins, and trauma-related vascular injuries. My department is the only one in Karnataka equipped to handle critical vascular trauma cases, allowing me to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. In addition to my clinical work, I am an active researcher with numerous publications and a commitment to advancing vascular health through both practice and academic contributions. Guided by strong ethical principles, I aim to serve my community through compassionate, expert medical care. Outside of medicine, I enjoy painting, swimming, and basketball as ways to relax and recharge.
