INTRODUCTION:
Department of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery focuses on restoring form and function following trauma and other
orthopedic conditions such as tumors or congenital deformities. The department of plastic surgery has 25 beds including male , female
and pediatric ward beds . We perform an average of 30 to 35 surgeries per month ,mostly traumatic in nature. We have two fixed
regular OT days in a week in addition to emergency OT whenever required . We a separate septic OT for infected cases. There two
OPD days in a week where operated cases are followed and dressings done .

● Skin and soft tissue cover of wounds
● Complications of trauma and fractures
● Limb salvage surgery, microsurgery and flap reconstruction of the extremities.
● Complex hand and wrist surgeries
● Chronic wound problems and osteomyelitis
● Skin and bone grafts
● Peripheral nerve injuries and Brachial plexus injuries
● Congenital limb anomalies
