INTRODUCTION:
The Department of General Surgery at SGITO offers general surgical care to trauma patients. The department primarily provides treatment for the treatment for injuries to neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine and soft tissues of the limbs. The department also provides care for abdominal disease, breast diseases, anorectal diseases, vascular diseases and soft tissue diseases.
SERVICES AVAILABLE
Management of Trauma victims is the priority in Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Trauma and Orthopaedics. Management of other Non Traumatic conditions of neck, chest, breast, abdomen, pelvis, anorectum, vascular system and limbs is also done.
