The Department of General Medicine is complementary to all specialties in providing medical care to trauma and other patients. Medical conditions such as diabetes and other endocrine disorders, hypertension, asthma, epilepsy, infectious diseases, and monitoring of patients in the ICU are managed by the department. A physician is available on call for all emergencies requiring medical attention. Pre-operative evaluation and surgical fitness assessments are also provided by the department.<\/p>

She holds a fellowship in Diabetes from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University, USA, with a special interest in managing diabetes and its complications. She has two publications in indexed national journals and two in international indexed journals.
